Hello! I'm Jenny and I have a son, Jack, and a beautiful pupperoni - miss Blu. Oh! I also have a husband and his name is Axel.

When I was little my mom always had her camera around. Back then cameras used film and there were a limited number of photographs you could take and you had to wait to have them developed before you could check if you got the shot you wanted. Yes! I am this old :-)

Fortunately for me, my mother took so many photographs. I now have boxes and boxes (and more boxes!) of photographs of me from the time I was a baby.

I followed in her footsteps and have been taking pictures of important moments, my everyday life and all of things and places I've seen on my travels. 

​

And now, I take pictures of my son and of my husky (she's always striking a pose...)

This may sound more like background information instead of how or why I became a photographer. Let me explain...

 

Years ago Axel and I decided we would elope as it was the most affordable option for us. We both loved to travel and so we decided to elope in Iceland. We scoured the internet for a photographer. We were desperate to find someone that could "just take some pictures of us." We discovered quickly that photographers were quite expensive, especially in Iceland.  We decided we would just hope that there would be some tourists around that might take a few photos of us as we just could not afford thousands of dollars for a photographer. We went back and forth and even considered purchasing a flight for a friend to tag along and take photos of us during the day. Luckily we found an amazing photographer that offered an affordable option for us and she took beautiful photographs of our special day.

After this experience, and coming close to not having any photographs of such an important day in our lives, I decided I wanted to give people like us an affordable option for their special moments as well. Photographs are memories that you can keep and look back on throughout your life. They document your life's story. Photographs are among my most precious possessions.

​

Since then I have thrown myself into researching and investing in camera gear, photography and editing courses and techniques. 

​

I hope that I can be the amazing photographer that is able to help save some special memories for you too!
